The Ref. 1680, known as the "Red Submariner," is the first Submariner Date model in Rolex history, produced from 1967 to 1979. The early "Red" versions (1967-1975) feature the iconic red "SUBMARINER" text on the dial, making them highly collectible and sought after by enthusiasts worldwide.
