The Rolex Yacht-Master II is a regatta chronograph designed specifically for professional sailors and yacht racing enthusiasts. Introduced in 2007, it features a programmable countdown timer with mechanical memory and on-the-fly synchronization capabilities, making it an essential instrument for race starts.

The watch's defining feature is the Ring Command bezel, which works in conjunction with the movement to set and synchronize the countdown. This innovative interface allows the wearer to program countdown times from 1 to 10 minutes and adjust the timer during the countdown sequence. The Yacht-Master II was discontinued in 2024 after 17 years of production.
