Introduced in 2008, it represents the pinnacle of Rolex's dive watch technology, incorporating innovations developed through decades of deep-sea exploration partnerships.
The Deepsea's Ringlock System is a patented case architecture featuring a nitrogen-alloyed stainless steel ring, a thick sapphire crystal, and a grade 5 titanium caseback, working together to resist crushing pressure at extreme depths. The watch was validated at 12,883 metres attached to the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER submersible in 2012.
